Propagio

How Propagio Works

Current legal version: 2026-03-17 · EN

1. Create a profile

You sign in, add a display name, optional bio, the cultures you share, and at least one contact method.

You can choose which contact channels are public and which stay hidden until approved.

2. Choose an approximate location

Propagio does not rely on publishing an exact home address.

Instead, the app stores an approximate public area and a matching cell structure so people can discover nearby sharers without seeing precise coordinates.

3. Publish the cultures you share

Your profile can list cultures such as sourdough, kombucha, water kefir, milk kefir, yogurt, jun, tibicos, and ginger bug.

You can also add notes that help other people understand what you share and any pickup or care details.

4. Search nearby

People looking for a culture can open the search view, browse approximate map results, and filter by starter type.

The product is designed for local discovery rather than exact-address lookup.

5. Send a request

When someone finds a relevant profile, they can send a message explaining what they want and how they might connect.

This creates a contact request for the sharer to review.

6. Approve or decline

The sharer decides whether to approve the request.

If approved, any channels marked as on_request become visible to the requester. If declined, those private details stay hidden.

7. Arrange the handoff directly

After approval, the exchange happens directly between users.

Propagio helps with discovery and request handling, but it does not process payments, schedule meetings, or transport cultures for users.

8. Keep control over visibility

You can update your profile, change availability, edit your cultures, and decide which details remain public at any time.

The product is designed to make nearby sharing easier while keeping exact location exposure limited.
